Built to Move: Dr Kelly Starrett
Great simple readying! Kelly Starrett outlines 10 Vital behaviors for good health as well as ways to simply assess yourself fro each one. Change these 10 behaviors for 30 days and do what he says and chances are you will be feeling better very soon!

Why we sleep
Dr Matthew Walker is a leading researcher of sleep science. We all know getting good sleep is critical for good health. Its handy to know why though. This book is AMAZING in answering that question. After reading you will be really able to believe and double down on those sleep hygeine tips you typically hear. Because they are mostly true.
Good Energy: Casey Means
This book from Casey means is a terrific book which helps us understand lowest base demoninator to metabolic ill health. Cellular energy production and health of the cell. It is a great resource for all things metabolic health and has great practical advice for people looking to improve metabolic health. Including nutrition, exercise and lifestyle change.
EC Synkowski
EC Synkowsl is a strength and conditionig coach with a masters in nutrition. She has a terrific message (amongst others). An that is to include 800 grams of fruit and vegetables into your daily diet. Nothing more complicated that that. Its very acheiveable and effective and you can listen here to her podcast with Dr Kelly Starrett to understand more.
Breath by James Nestor
This best selling book by James Nestor, looks into the global modern phenomenon of breathing dysfunction. A really great read. Learn the downstream effects of dysfunctional breathing habits, as well as how to correct them. Chew your foot, breath through your nose whereever you can.. Optimal Posture, optimal human movement and fucntion and breathing mechanics are almost iinseperable in how they are linked to one another
Keith Baar - Recovery from Tendon injury
Keith Baar is a leading researcher in Tendons science. This podcast may change the way you think about strength training forever. He explains the benefit of strong tendons, how to train tendons effectively (i.e the amount of volume they need for adapatation), and simple Tendon recovery protocols that we can all implement very easily. He also goes into collagen and how supplementation is worth considering for optimal tendon recovery and physiological adaptation.
Explain Pain: Lorimer Mosely and David Butler
There are no better resources for understanding pain than this book by Lorimer Moseley and David Butler. The illustrations are cool, the content simple to digest and understand. This book is as good for patients as it is for practitioners. Learn ALL about pain, and with that knowledge improve your ability to manage it. Applying the knowledge you will learn in this book can and WILL be effective changing your perceptions of pain and will help you to be more intentional and targeted in managing it (and even reducing it).

Pilates Anatomy
This book is closely aligned with Joseph Pilates original book 'Contrology'. Learn the foundational principles of Pilates and how to get the most out of your practice. Once you have an idea of what you are trying to achieve with pilates, apply it to your broader movement practice and life.

Andy Galpin
